Ignacio “Nate” Acevedo

Ignacio “Nate” Antonio Acevedo Mundaca is a courteous and proactive legal executive, bringing a unique perspective shaped by his own migration journey. Originally from Chile, Nate is a graduate of the Universidad de Chile, where he earned a double degree in Social Communication and Journalism.

After relocating to Australia in 2024, Nate leveraged his professional background in journalism and marketing, combined with his personal experience as a migrant, to pursue a career in migration law. His understanding of the emotional and practical complexities involved in relocating internationally informs his work, enabling him to assist clients with empathy and understanding. In his role as a legal executive, Nate supports clients with a range of visa and migration enquiries, drawing on his multilingual skills. Fluent in Spanish, proficient in English, and with a working understanding of Italian and Portuguese, Nate communicates effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. 

Outside of work, Nate enjoys rock climbing, playing various instruments and engaging in thoughtful discussions with friends. His combination of professional expertise, lived experience, and personal passion for helping others, positions him as a crucial part of the Australian Migration Lawyers Team.
