Ella Pullin is a Senior Associate with broad experience across the full spectrum of migration law, including employer sponsored and skilled visas, family reunion and refugee matters, citizenship and representation before the Administrative Review Tribunal.
Having advised on hundreds of matters, Ella brings a genuine understanding that for most people, this is unfamiliar and often stressful territory. At its core, she sees migration law as being about people navigating some of the most significant decisions of their lives, and this belief shapes how she works with every client. Ella takes the time to properly understand each person's situation, is upfront about their options, and focuses on finding the right path forward for them, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach.
Ella first joined Australian Migration Lawyers in 2023. After further honing her skills at a global immigration law firm specialising in corporate migration, Ella returned to Australian Migration Lawyers with a broadened depth of knowledge and experience, having worked across large-scale employer sponsorship programs and complex corporate migration matters.
Ella began her legal career in criminal law, appearing daily in the Magistrates' and County Courts. This experience gave her a grounded, practical approach to working with people during difficult and high-stakes moments in their lives, which continues to inform how she supports clients today.
Outside of her professional career, Ella previously worked with the Modern Anti-Slavery Taskforce at the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney, reviewing compliance with modern slavery legislation, reflecting a broader commitment to fairness and looking out for people who need it.
Ella holds a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law, and a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Global Studies from the Australian Catholic University.
