Miranda Bourke

Australian Legal Executive

Background

Miranda is an Australian Legal Executive who assists our solicitors across a wide range of paralegal tasks.

Miranda's dedication extends beyond the legal realm, as she has demonstrated extensive experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Her previous work in the community health sector involved collaborating with government departments to deliver primary and allied health services to new migrants and refugees.

Miranda is also actively engaged with Tannery Chambers, collaborating closely with barristers on public interest and administrative law cases. She also serves as a valued panelist on the Victorian Bar’s Open Justice Project, providing research and paralegal support in pro-bono matters.

Her academic journey includes studying abroad at King’s College London, where she engaged with transnational studies at the Dickson Pool School of Law and the Department of Political Economy. Her commitment to academic excellence is evident through her role as an Editorial Committee Member on the Monash University Law Review, where she worked alongside academics to edit and review a wide range of scholarly literature. Additionally, her participation in the Just Leadership Program saw her lectured by judges and eminent public interest lawyers, producing a final review into the future of Victoria’s environmental laws.

Miranda is in her penultimate year of a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts, with a focus on International Relations and Indigenous Cultures & Histories.

Miranda's breadth of experience and unwavering commitment to social justice make her an asset to our firm and the wider legal community.
