With ambitions to become an accredited specialist, Ruby is highly educated, having graduated from Deakin University with Distinction in her Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Arts joint degree. She later completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the College of Law. Throughout her studies, Ruby had a passion for administrative law, migration law and international law, which provided a strong background into her career as an Australian Migration Lawyer.
