Shereen El-Ali, a migration law veteran with over a decade practising exclusively in migration law, celebrates her well-deserved promotion to Special Counsel. Shereen, having honed her skills under leading accredited immigration law specialists at several esteemed migration law practices, remains a key contributor to the firm's success.
Further strengthening our team, Damian Dwyer has been elevated to Associate. Damian, first admitted as an Australian Lawyer in 2009, boasts credentials including a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the Australian National University (ANU), a Graduate Diploma in Migration Law and Practice from the University of Technology Sydney and a Master of Applied Linguistics from the University of Melbourne. With rigorous academic training, firstly at New York University (NYU) and later postgraduate law studies at the University of Melbourne where she graduated in the top 5% of her cohort, Simrat has also had international exposures spanning from Washington D.C. to London. Olivia Harms joins the firm as an Australian Migration Lawyer. Olivia graduated with First Class Honours in her Bachelor of International Relations degree from the University of Adelaide, which she combined with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. A graduate of the Master of International Relations degree from the University of Melbourne, Olivia has experience appearing before Australia’s administrative review tribunal and a particular passion for illuminating the plight of climate refugees.
